Nikki Sixx

Songwriter, iHeart radio host, photographer, co-founder of iconic rock group Mötley Crüe, and most importantly, the skilled bassist of SIXX:A.M., Nikki Sixx has many noteworthy accolades. It all began Los Angeles, 1981, as Mötley Crüe undeniably took the rock ‘n roll scene by storm, cranking out cult hits including “Dr. Feelgood”, “Kickstart My Heart” and “Girls, Girls, Girls”. In addition to chart topping tracks, Nikki also penned two New York Times Best Selling books, The Heroin Diaries: A Year In The Life of a Shattered Rock Star (2008) and This Is Gonna Hurt: Music, Photography, and Life Through the Distorted Lens of Nikki Sixx (2013). Today, between his weekly iHeart Radio show, “Sixx Sense”, and demonstrating his unmatched abilities on the bass with the band SIXX:A.M., who will be releasing a very special 2 Volume album package in 2016; Vol 1 Prayers For The Damned out everywhere on April 29th, and Vol 2 expected later this year, it is clear that Sixx eats, sleeps, and bleeds rock ‘n roll.
